With the Keychron G6 HE, Keychron announces a gaming mouse that combines several unusual ideas. The symmetrical housing, in the version with a replaceable battery, weighs only around 46 grams and is thus clearly aimed at gamers who prefer fast, controlled movements. Inside, the current PixArt PAW3955 sensor and a Nordic controller are at work, while the housing is provided with a grippy nano-coating. In addition to black and white, the G6 HE will also be released in several semi-transparent, matte colors.

The new MagOptic switches under the main buttons are particularly interesting. They combine a tactile, classic click with magnetic or optical detection, allowing for particularly precise tuning. Keychron specifies a lifespan of up to 100 million clicks. The replaceable 350 mAh battery can be swapped out in a matter of seconds if needed, instead of having to charge the mouse via cable during gameplay. Depending on the connection and polling rate, Keychron states battery life of up to 340 hours via Bluetooth and around 35 hours in wireless 8,000 Hz operation.

Keychron is also breaking new ground with software: The G6 HE is set to be the first mouse to support the upcoming open-source firmware ZGM – Zephyr Gaming Mouse. This means the firmware will not only be customizable but also publicly viewable and developable by the community. The G6 HE is therefore more than just another lightweight gaming mouse – it combines high-end hardware, a practical swappable battery, and an open software approach in one complete package. The international market launch is scheduled for early September 2026 at an announced price of 89.99 US dollars.

The Keychron G6 HE will, of course, also be available from InputGear upon its release. A final retail price has not yet been set, and the exact delivery date may still change. As of now, we expect availability in the fourth quarter of 2026. As soon as we receive confirmed information on pricing, variants, and delivery time, we will naturally inform you.
