The "Static" keyboard kit from 0xCB is aimed at mechanical keyboard enthusiasts who enjoy building their own keyboards. It features a more compact 40% layout (significantly smaller than standard keyboards) and includes the mainboard (PCB) along with all necessary components – the switches and keycaps must be added by the user. The kit comes with modern features such as an OLED display, a rotary encoder (button), and a USB-C connection – combined with flexible layout options and open firmware support (QMK/VIA). For those looking to build a compact, customizable keyboard, the Static offers a high-quality DIY kit with the potential for creative builds.
