The Safety Switch is a joint development by GOJU Works and Tecsee, designed as a linear switch for mechanical keyboards. It combines high-quality materials with a well-thought-out design that ensures both a pleasantly quiet typing feel and good sound characteristics – according to the manufacturer, a mix between "clacky" and "thocky", with relatively low volume and balanced feedback.
The housing uses a polycarbonate (PC) top and a nylon bottom, and a double-charged spring with approximately 65 g of force is employed. The shaft travel is about 3.7 mm. The switch is compatible with MX-style PCBs (5-pin, PCB mount) and is suitable for custom keyboard builds that demand high-quality tactile feel and sound.
