The Keychron Q3 Knob (ISO) Barebone is a high-quality keyboard kit in an 80%/TKL format with a fully CNC-machined aluminum housing and an integrated rotary knob. The barebone version does not include switches or keycaps – you provide these yourself. The ISO version allows for layouts such as DE-ISO, UK-ISO, etc., making it ideal for the European market. Thanks to hot-swap compatibility, fully programmable firmware (QMK/VIA), and numerous modding options, it is aimed at enthusiasts who want to build a standalone, almost "custom" keyboard.

  • Layout: ISO version (e.g. DE-ISO, UK-ISO etc.)

  • Format: approximately 80% / TKL (without numpad)

  • Housing material: Aluminum (fully CNC machined)

  • Connections: USB-C wired

  • Mounting type: Gasket mounting (damping elements between housing & plate)

  • Hot-swap: Yes – supports both 3-pin and 5-pin MX-style switches

  • Rotary knob ("knob"): Integrated, freely programmable via firmware

  • Lighting: South-facing RGB LED (below the keys, towards the user)

  • Stabilization: Screw-in PCB stabilizers

  • Dimensions & angles: Front height approx. 19.7 mm, rear height approx. 32.6 mm, tilt angle approx. 5.2°

  • Weight: approx. 2,000 g (fully loaded)

  • Firmware: Supports QMK & VIA – full key remap/macro functions
