The Keychron Q9 Knob, in ISO barebone format, is a compact, high-quality mechanical keyboard with an approximately 40% layout (≈ all main keys without the number pad) and an additional rotary encoder ("knob") in the upper right corner. It is aimed at enthusiasts who prefer a minimalist form factor with maximum customizability. The CNC-machined aluminum chassis, gasket-mount design, and hot-swappable PCB make it a flexible platform for individual builds. The knob allows programming via QMK/VIA firmware—ideal for media control, zoom, or other macros.
