As it is a store exclusive item, only way to get ISO in Black color I cannot fully dissociate the store experience from the keyboard experience. Neither of them are perfect.
TLDR:
7/10 Keyboard is okay but overhyped.
3/10 The preorder experience is horrendous;
Do not preorder from this site, after the fact found a lot of people having issues with it and so did I. He does not know what to expect, seemingly constantly over promises and under delivers on dates and only sent the item they supposedly sent weeks ago when I ask for tracking.
If they have in stock what you want go ahead.
The keyboard experience:
The keyboard is pretty okay. There are a few scratchy keys, there are a few keys that makes a suction-like sound which over-lubed mechanical switches make and I could change them so the "worse" switches are on less used keys but it's was a tad annoying.
It is the silent switch variant and it is indeed quite silent but not more so than my quite old Ducky 60% keyboard with Cherry MX silent red switches.
The stabilizers are really nice, the space bar especially. Best I've used.
Software is awesome, online, nothing to install or constantly run in the background. And had everything I wanted of it.
The feet were making rattling noises constantly. They were moving left and right in their spot so I just removed them all-together and will get some rubber sticky feet to put on the rear end of the keyboard as the feet had the rubber on the back.
The usb dongle connectivity is really easily interrupted. I have the pc around 1-1.2m away to the side from where I use the keyboard plugged into the front of the case for direct view yet I had quite a few dropouts. Since then I have switched to bluetooth and as I do nothing that requires insane polling rate I am perfectly fine with it and just not use the dongle. It will even increase my battery life. But having a more stable connection is the most important here. I don't know if it's a board issue or not but generally the dongle should be the more stable of the two.
I am generally happy with the keyboard in the end even if not blown away like other people were during investigating the keyboard.
I really like that you can easily check the battery status with the onboard leds on the right-side.
The preorder experience:
26 Apr, 23:45 paid for the keyboard knowing it's a preorder for end of May.
28 Apr, 10:39 got an e-mail from David Procek saying ~"Production has been rescheduled, and completion is now expected by the end of May."
Which is strange because I ordered it stating end of May already, probably was an earlier date before.
2 Jun I ask about the product, no shipent or daley email sent and it's past the end of May deadline.
2 Jun, within 6 hours I've got sent an overal Nuphy tracking link; nuphy.inputgear.de
Absolutely nothing happens until it says on the tracking link that it's arrived by end of June, does not remember the exact date but it's at their place and they are preparing the preorders in the following 2 days.
3 Aug I send an e-mail to change my delivery address if not sent yet as I'll be away for a while. even though it should have been sent based on the link they told me to follow.
3 Aug, within 3 hours they reply that they have changed the delivery address.
6 Aug my order is updated to "on it's way" on the website that I checked daily, did not get any e-mail or notification or tracking for it.
17 Aug with nothing in between I get an e-mail that shipments listed between 12 and 14 Aug are to be expected late.
My should have been sent at 6 Aug but I asked if I'm impacted as it still did not arrive.
I've been told probably affected if it was made between the 7-8 Aug.
Mine was supposedly done on 6 Aug so based on this answer I shouldn't have been affected, yet here we are.
19 Aug I request a tracking if it's supposedly sent on the 6th, I would like to see the DPD tracking.
19 Aug within an hour I get the label that they printed out so I can get my numbers from it for tracking.
I open the tracking a bit later as I was out on a hike when got the answer, it says Parcel handed to DPD 19/08/2026.
So they only made the label when I asked for tracking, who knows if I would still be waiting if haven't sent an e-mail again.
Do yourself a favor, do not preorder from here. If they have something you want in stock go ahead but this preorder was a pain of a process that I found out is not a one off but both on this site and on reddit there are a lot of people complaining about it.
To David; You should stop over-promising delivery times. One mistake is fine but constantly doing so just undermines your credibility. I don't know if I will order from here again but if I do it will never be a preorder.
