The Purple Potato Switch is a tactile switch aimed at mechanical keyboard enthusiasts. Manufactured by Kailh, it features a POM housing and stem, combined with a strong spring travel and noticeable tactility (a "large, round bump") – inspired by the popular "Holy Panda" feel.
The switch is particularly suitable for users who are looking for clear tactile feedback – i.e., who consciously want to feel the “haptic” sensation when typing – and not primarily for linear or quiet designs.
