The Vortex Cypher (ISO-DE) is an extremely compact mechanical keyboard, deliberately optimized for maximum desk space while retaining the most important keys for productive work. It is often classified as a 65–69% class keyboard (frequently also referred to as a 68% layout ) and combines a space-saving layout with dedicated arrow keys and clever layer functions for navigation and special functions. Typical of Vortex keyboards is hardware programming directly on the keyboard (without the need for persistent software), allowing for flexible customization of keymaps, layers, and macros. The model forgoes showy features like RGB lighting, focusing instead on functionality, durability, and a clean, purposeful design – particularly well-suited for office work, coding, and minimalist setups.
